Retired U.S. Navy Diver John Barklow spent over two decades teaching U.S. Special Operations Forces the skills and mindset required to survive and thrive in austere mountain environments. John has also taught professional rescue groups and first responders how to be habitually proficient in the most grueling and dynamic wilderness environments. John currently develops clothing and equipment systems at Sitka Gear for the hunting industry.

Backcountry guide, hunter, and conservation advocate Kristy Titus brings decades of hands-on experience in wilderness travel and mulemanship. Raised in the backcountry, Kristy specializes in using pack animals to safely and efficiently access remote terrain. Her knowledge of stock handling, animal care, and backcountry logistics is rooted in real-world experience across some of the most rugged country in North America, with a deep respect for the land, the animals, and the traditions of backcountry travel.

Veteran hunter Jason Matzinger brings decades of real-world experience pursuing black bears and spring turkeys across North America. Known for his methodical, detail-driven approach, Jason focuses on reading animal behavior, seasonal patterns, and terrain to consistently find success. Through years spent hunting diverse landscapes, he has developed practical strategies for bear and turkey hunting that emphasize preparation, patience, and ethical decision-making in the field
